There's nothing quite like warm butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon smells filling up the house (or in my case, apartment) around the holidays.

Peppermint is the taste that captures the whole of December. Crisp, cool, and somehow comforting. After my first bite of this Peppermint Crunch Brownie I knew I was a goner.

I'm a nut. A nut who loves candied nuts. This post is getting weird... I guess this is what happens when you put off writing for awhile and you give yourself brain freeze. 

This Poison Apple may, however, cause you to dream about eating another one. Caramel apples are one of the best treats of the autumnal season and when combined with the sweet kick of cinnamon they're even tastier. The Evil Queen would be proud of this witchcraft.

It's fall! Well, not officially but according to New York weather the autumnal season has arrived. This is one of my all time favorite comfort foods when the weather starts to cool.

Seriously, a ripe, sweet, and cold peach is the perfect summer treat on it's own, but when they've passed their state of ripeness you can still slice them up and enjoy their summertime flavor.
