It's filled with everything I love. Sprinkles, glitter, hearts, CoCoNuT, and too much butter. It's delicious. Dense but not too dense. Fluffy but not too light. Creamy but not overwhelming.

Happy Halloween, witches! It's been to long my ghouls and goblins. Since moving to San Francisco and having a full time job again, my blogging schedule isn't what it used to be. I've also had a few... distractions?

Helloooooo GLITTER! In lieu of the Summer Olympics, I wanted to create something reminiscent of the season. Pool blue and sparkling gold. The USA Swim Team would be proud.

Now that summer is in full swing, I decided it was about time I whipped up a seasonal cake to celebrate the season. Nothing screams summer like coconut. Well... maybe ice cream but we'll save that for another week.

I am about to change your life. Sure, Cheery Cherry Cheesecake is a cheek-full but you need to understand the richness and decadence this concoction will bring to your life. And your mouth. But mostly your life. It's that good. Change your life good. And since your life is changing...

I can't pronounce this italian dessert for the life of me but I can put it in my mouth and that's all that matters. Sweet baby Jesus. This is delicious. It might be my favorite thing to eat this month.

Happy Easter? Alright, so I am a little late to the party, but... actually I do not have an excuse for delaying the post of this fabulous, pastel, Easter-wonderland of a cake. Or at least not a legitimate excuse.

Happy St. Patrick's day! While I am not Irish, well, at least not that I know of, I can still celebrate the holiday. To be honest it's entirely unavoidable in New York but I ain't hatin'. Who couldn't use a little bit of leprechaun luck? 

This chocolate panna cotta is all the love I need. Or all the love I have or whatever. I don't care. CHOCOLATE. CHOCOLATE. CHOCOLATE. ACK! 

All morning I have been day dreaming, slightly inspired by the fictional adventures of Walter Mitty and otherwise inspired by this mouthwatering cake.

I've got a secret, can you keep it? Swear this one you'll save... because these cupcakes are freaking delicious!

The way I see it this cake has fruit in it so it's basically health food. You can totally stick to your guns about New Years resolutions and enjoy this cake. Maybe. Okay, maybe that's a lie but I am trying here.

I mean for reals, carrot cake does not get enough credit. It is a quintessential fall dessert with its rustic coloring, crunch of pecans, chewy raisins, savory carrot, and perfectly spiced taste. Don't even get me started on that cream cheese frosting.

STOP. Seriously STAHPPPPPP! Stop what you are doing and go make this cake because, well, I can't stop eating this cake sitting on my counter and no matter how many times I cover it up with a cake cover I open it back up and sneak another bite.

When the stars are out and the night is late anything could happen. I wanted to capture a little of that magic in edible form. What better canvas than a cake? Accio cake!...

APPLE SEASON IS UPON US! Break out the sweaters, candles, and brown sugar because it's time to make festive autumnal treats.
